Surah Al Fatiha | سورۃ الفاتحہ | سُورَةُ الفَاتِحَةِ
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ ۟
اللہ کی جانب سے جو عمومی و خصوصی رحمت والا ہے
In the Name of Allah, the beneficent the merciful.
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ ۟ۙ
تمام تعریفیں در اصل اللہ ہی کے لیے ہیں جو ہر اک جہان کو چلانے والاہے
The praise is for Allah (The God), lord of the existence.
الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ ۟ۙ
عمومی و خصوصی رحمت والا ہے
The beneficent to all, merciful to all.
مٰلِكِ یَوْمِ الدِّیْنِ ۟ؕ
جزاء و سزا کے دن کا مالک ہے
The lord of the day of judgement.
اِیَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَاِیَّاكَ نَسْتَعِیْنُ ۟ؕ
ہم صرف تیری ہی عبادت کرتے ہیں پھر صرف تجھ ہی سے مدد کے طلب گار ہیں
Thee alone we worship, thee alone we turn for help.
اِهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِیْمَ ۟ۙ
ہمیں سیدھی راہ دکھادے
Show us the straight path.
صِرَاطَ الَّذِیْنَ اَنْعَمْتَ عَلَیْهِمْ ۙ۬— غَیْرِ الْمَغْضُوْبِ عَلَیْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّآلِّیْنَ ۟۠
ان لوگوں کی راہ کہ جن پر تو نے انعام فرمایا نہ کہ ان کا جن پر تیرا غضب ہوا نہ ہی ان کا جو گمراہ ہو گئے۔
The path, of those whom you have blessed, neither of those who earned thine anger, nor of those who went astray.
Synopsis | مختصر وضاحت
سورۃ الفاتحہ کو فاتحۃ القرآن ، سبع مثانی، ام الکتاب،سورۃ الشافیہ اور سورۃ المسئلہ کے علاوہ کئی ناموں سے جانا جاتا ہے۔ اس کی بہت فضیلت قرآن پاک اور احادیث میں آئی ہے۔ اس کی بہت فضیلت قرآن پاک اور احادیث میں آئی ہے۔ اس سورہ طیبہ میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے پورے قرآن پاک کا خلاصہ فرما دیا ہے۔ یعنی درس توحید بھی ہے، درس عبادت بھی، سلیقہ دعا بھی، امیدوں و دعاؤں کا مرکز بھی سمجھا دیا اور یہ بھی کہ تین طرح کے گروہ ہیں۔ اول تو وہ جو کامیاب ہوئے اور ان پر انعام فرمایا گیا، دوم وہ جو بدنیتی کی وجہ سے بد اعمالیوں کی وجہ سے اللہ کے غضب کا شکار ہوئے اور سوم وہ جو راہ سے ہٹ گئے۔ یعنی ہمیں نہ راہ سے ہٹنا چاہیے نہ بد اعمالیاں کرنی چاہئیں۔
This chapter of the Noble Quran is called Al Fatiha (the preamble), the seven repeated verses and so on. Numerous references for the nobility have been quoted in books in its merit. In this opening chapter, The God (Allah) has summarized the rest of the Quran. There is a teaching of monotheism (oneness of the God, that the God is one and unique). These verses also teach how to worship by stating “thee alone we worship”, that the act of worship must be solely for the God. Also, there is a guidance that the response of the teachings is also there, with indication, “thee alone we turn for help”. Thus, this chapter grants us hope by strengthening our faith. The first of the help is taught to be the guidance towards the right path. This path is termed as the straight path; a path which has no turns, no confusion. Three paths and people who follow them are also mentioned. First, those who are on the right path with right mindset and actions, these are the people who are blessed. Second, those who are corrupt in their mindset and their actions, thus, they are turned down, outcasted and angered upon. Third, those who may have some good intensions, some good deeds, but they went on wrong path. We are advised to stay on the right path, strictly, faithfully and open mindedly.
